Two French cruise ship passengers were violently attacked and robbed while sightseeing in Antigua where their vessel had docked. The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 22nd, and left both victims with injuries. The passengers were part of a group of three cruise visitors to Antigua, two from an unidentified MSC cruise ship and one from the PO Brittania.

According to local news reports, the victims were walking through the streets of St. John's, Antigua's capital city, when they were approached by a group of assailants. The assailants demanded the victims' belongings, and when they resisted, they were attacked. The victims suffered minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

The assailants fled the scene with the victims' belongings, which included cash, jewelry, and other valuables. The victims were able to make it back to their cruise ship and seek medical attention.

Local police are investigating the incident and are searching for the assailants. No arrests have been made at this time.
