Tottenham Hotspur to Tour Japan and Australia
The eagerly anticipated pre-season schedule for the men's first team has been confirmed, featuring a return to Japan after 33 years and a clash with reigning J1 League champions Vissel Kobe. The Club will also face West Ham United and Leicester City in Australia during their tour.
Full Pre-Season Schedule:
- West Ham United (Optus Stadium, Perth) - Tuesday 18 July, 6pm local time
- Leicester City (Rajamangala Stadium, Bangkok) - Monday 4 July 2022, 8pm local time
- Vissel Kobe (Japan National Stadium, Tokyo) - Saturday 5 August 2023, 1pm local time
Pre-season training is currently underway for the men's first team squad, with a number of players returning to Hotspur Way after their summer holidays.
Tottenham Hotspur will be returning to Japan for the first time in 33 years this summer. The Club last toured Japan in 1990, playing three matches against local opposition.
The match against Vissel Kobe will be played at the Japan National Stadium, which is the largest stadium in the country. The stadium was built for the 2020 Summer Olympics and has a capacity of over 60,000.
Tickets for the match against Vissel Kobe will go on sale on Friday, April 21. Prices will start from JPY5,000 (approximately £35).
